Drawn while listening on loop to The Animal's cover of the Bob Dylan classic, this piece is the output of the grief I felt leaving Dublin. My adopted home of the preceding five years.

Having arrived there broken and alone – with only one suitcase and £1,000 to my name – I was unaware of the adventures and blessings the coming years would bring. At my absolute lowest, the island of Ireland saved me. It changed me. It gave me lessons and experiences I will cherish until my last breath.

But, my friend, there’s only so long you can run form what ails you. Eventually, it has to be faced.

The time had come to cross the water.

You must leave now, take what you need, You think will last. But whatever you wish to keep, You better grab it fast. Yonder stands your orphan with his gun. Crying like a fire in the Sun.

Endings are rarely easy. But it’s important to recognise when one arrives. Forcing anything to limp on will only keep it half alive in a slow demise. No, I would rather the wrench of goodbye and preserve it in all its glory.

Goodbye to you, Dear Dublin. It is time to begin again. Again.

Strike another match, go start anew. And it’s all over now, Baby Blue.

- For unframed prints, please allow 2-3 days for dispatch as your print is made to order.

- For framed prints, please allow 3-5 days for dispatch to allow for framing services.

- Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notification with an expected delivery date.

RETURNS

- If for any reason you receive your items and wish to return or exchange them, I offer a 14-day return policy. 

- Items must be returned in a resalable condition. Customers are responsible for return return postage costs.

PACKAGING

- All unframed fine art prints come carefully wrapped in paper. They will either be safely rolled in a sturdy postal tube, or sent in a reinforced flat pack.

- All framed fine art prints come carefully wrapped in protective packaging before being boxed. Corners are protected and the package is marked as fragile so that they arrive in mint condition ready for you to hang.

ECO CREDENTIALS

- All prints, frames and mounts are non-toxic, FSC approved and sustainably sourced.

- All inks used are water-based, free of chemicals, and have a lower impact on the environment than solvent-based inks.

- All prints are made to order to prevent waste.
