ORIGINAL DRAWINGS
CAN I BUY AN ORIGINAL DRAWING?
DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM COMMISSIONS?
Yes — when my schedule allows.
I create bespoke, symbolic pieces that tell personal stories: love, milestones, memory, meaning, or something quietly powerful you’ve been carrying around.

CAN I GET YOUR ART TATTOOED?
Hell yeah! I’m honoured whenever my work resonates that deeply.
Please purchase a tattoo token as a form of payment and permission. It supports my ability to keep creating and allows you (and your tattooist) to use the artwork.

PRINTS
ARE YOUR PRINTS SIGNED?
As with all my art, the signature sits within the drawing. Because of this, my signature is scanned as part of the original.
This ensures the signature appears exactly as intended in the final artwork.
For limited editions or special releases, I hand-sign and number each print.
HOW ACCURATE ARE THE PRINTS COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL DRAWINGS?
Highly accurate — I painstakingly paw over this part.
Each print is created from a high-resolution scan of the original drawing, then meticulously edited by me to preserve every line, tone and detail.
I work closely with a professional fine-art print studio, using museum-grade papers and archival inks to ensure the final print feels as close to the original as possible.
In short: they’re as close to identical as humanly possible.
WHAT SIZES DO YOUR PRINTS COME IN?
My prints come in a small selection of carefully balanced sizes chosen to suit the artwork.
Most prints are available in 6x8 and 8x10, and all sizes are standard to make framing simple and accessible.
Individual product listings show the exact sizes available for each artwork.
CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC SIZE NOT LISTED?
Of course! I cannot guarantee all sizes but I will be happy to accommodate where I can.
DO YOUR PRINTS COME FRAMED?
Prints are sold unframed as standard. However if you'd like yours framed, you can select the framed option on the product page.
If you’re unsure what style works best for your piece, feel free to ask.
HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY PRINT?
- Try not to touch it too much with bare hands. Even the cleanest mitts leave marks!
- Keep it out of direct sunlight.
- Avoid moisture and humidity.
- Frame with UV glass if possible.
HOW LONG DO PRINTS LAST?
My prints are archival — made with museum-grade pigment inks and acid-free paper.
With proper care (keeping them away from direct sunlight and moisture), they’ll outlive all of us.
ABOUT THE ARTIST & STUDIO
DO YOU DRAW DIGITALLY?
No — all of my artwork is drawn by hand using fineliners on paper.
I only use digital tools at the very end for high-resolution scanning and preparing the artwork for print.
The drawings themselves are entirely hand-drawn.
HOW LONG DOES EACH DRAWING TAKE?
It varies, but most pieces take anywhere from 5–30 hours of drawing time.
Some of the more intricate ones take considerably longer — I work in very fine detail, one line at a time.
WHAT PENS DO YOU USE?
All my work is created with Sakura Micron or Uni Pin fineliners. I almost exclusively use 0.03 and 0.05mm nibs.
Some of the chubbier ones sneak in on occasion.
WHY "DRAW BY NAME"?
My surname – Ward – spells backwards as "Draw".
Draw by name, draw by nature.
A lucky aptronym!
ORDERS, SHIPPING & RETURNS
HOW WILL MY ART BE PACKAGED?
All artwork is packaged in protective, reinforced packaging.
Depending on the size, it will either be carefully flatpacked or delicately rolled in a postal tube.
All packaging is made from recycled materials.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
If you receive your items and wish to return them for any reason, I offer a 14-day return policy.
Items must be returned in a resalable condition. Customers are responsible for return postage costs.
Sale items, tattoo tokens, and custom/commissioned work cannot be returned or refunded.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY?
UK: FREE shipping on all UK orders.
Rest of the World: I offer a flat rate of £14.99 or £9.99 for orders over £100. Buyers are responsible for any taxes, customs charges, and additional fees.
DISPATCH TIMES
- For greeting cards, please allow up to 4 business days for delivery.
- For unframed prints, please allow 2-3 days for dispatch as your print is made to order.
- For framed prints, please allow 3-5 days for dispatch to allow for framing services.
- For clothing, please allow 3-5 days for dispatch as your item is made to order.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notification with an expected delivery date.
COMMISSIONED WORK
Commissioned artwork will be completed and posted to you by a mutually agreed time frame.
